Historic buildings, artsy rooms. Clean and spacious. Giant windows, great views

Our stay at this hotel was like nothing else we'd experienced on our trip. The rooms were basic but had their own unique style with art all over the walls. We loved the giant windows letting plenty of light in. The shared spaces were great for hanging out with other guests, and we spent the night playing cards. The location was ideal for a stopover, and there were a few interesting historic buildings in the area.

The check-in process was a bit inconvenient since there was only one staff member and a line had formed.

Spent New Year's Eve at a hotel near the train station. The price was affordable and the rooms were surprisingly clean. The shared spaces were the best aspects, where we spent most of our time playing cards with other guests. The staff was not very helpful or friendly and we didn't receive much information about the area or the hotel amenities. The noise level was also a problem, which was to be expected considering the hotel's proximity to the train station. we were disappointed with the service and amenities, but the shared spaces and location made up for it.

While check-in was slightly cumbersome due to long lines, it's understandable given the short hours of staffing. the noise from outside - trains passing by - can be heard in some of the rooms.
